iOS: Some of us aren't quite sure difference between a Malbec and a Merlot. We get a bit overwhelmed by the wine list at a restaurant. Wine Glass scans the wine list for you and makes suggestions on which wines to order.
Once you take a picture of the menu, WineGlass uses OCR to pull up the individual wines using the Cellar Tracker database. You don't have to type the names unless the menu is difficult to read (I had no problems in my testing). You'll see the average retail price for the bottle, tasting notes, and preferred pairings.
I like this app because you can take one picture of the wine list and then peruse the listing at your leisure.
