Project Athena is the Chromium team's experimental redesign of Chrome OS

Material Design is Google's attempt to unify design across its products. We've seen the first of it with Android L, but it won't be too long before it shows up in other products. A screenshot for an upcoming experiment of Chromium OS, called Athena, shows what it might look like with a touch of Material Design.
