Web/Android: If you have an uncommon name or, like me, pronounce your name differently than is common, Namez is for you. The webapp and Android app lets you record your name for sharing in your email signature, social networks, web pages, and elsewhere.
The app also interestingly can help you learn the pronunciation of others' difficult names, such as all the players and places connected with the World Cup. More categories (politicians, artists, and animals, for example) are in progress. Maybe they'll eventually add the most common words everyone's mispronouncing.
(For the record, here's how I say my name. Usually, I only tell that to people who are my friends and use "MEL uh nee" for everyone else. Now we are friends.)
